The latest staff picks

Staff write a short pick each month. The home page should show the four most recent, and the oldest should fall off as new ones arrive.

In the app this list is called Staff picks, latest first.

What it says

Take every Staff pick. Keep all of them. Sort by Month, newest first. Keep the first 4.

On the storefront

A list with no conditions is still useful: the value is in the sort and the limit. Each staff pick references a book, so the snippet reaches through the reference for the cover and title: pick.book.value.title.

In your store

Testimonials, press mentions, changelog entries, announcements: anything you add to over time and only ever want the latest few of. Sort by a date field on the type, or by Updated at if the type has no date of its own.
