Upcoming events for a book

On a book’s page, the events about that book, but only ones still to come.

The list

In the app this list is called Events for this book.

What it says

Take every Event. Keep the ones where Date is in the future. Per referenced entry, through the Book field: for each book, keep the future events that reference it. Sort by Date, soonest first.

On the storefront

Conditions and the per-entry choice combine: the condition trims the set, then the map is built from what is left. The map is lists.events-for-book, keyed by book handle; a book with no future events is simply absent from the map, so the theme shows nothing.

Upcoming classes for a venue, open slots for a practitioner, live promotions for a product. The condition does the time-keeping and the map does the placing.
